On Tuesday morning, R. Kelly’s ex-wife, Andrea Kelly, also made an appearance on the Atlanta-Based syndicated “The Bert Show” to talk about her relationship with the controversial singer.

According to ajc.com, the former dancer, who was married to the embattled artist, real name Robert Sylvester Kelly, for nearly 10 years, said she is still being financially abused by him. She said he has not paid child support in months, because he’s retaliating against her for speaking publicly about her alleged physical and emotional abuse.

“He stopped paying child support in June,” she explained on the Atlanta-based syndicated radio show. “It’s another form of abuse. He’s still abusing me financially.”

She has three children with the songwriter — Joann, Jay and Robert Jr. Joann, a.k.a. Buku Abi, is 20; Jay is 18 and Robert Jr. is 16.

If you're unfamiliar with what's going down with R. Kelly, Lifetime's docuseries "Surviving R. Kelly" has taken the world by storm, and it also looks like it might be leading to new criminal charges against him.

Atlanta prosecutors have opened a new investigation directly related to the allegations made on the docuseries, and they want information from anyone who lived in the mansion where he carried out his alleged sex crimes, as well as anyone who might know what went on there. Reports say they've already reached out to the survivors and family members who cooperated with Lifetime for the docuseries.
