Xperi says its DTS AutoStage Broadcaster Portal now covers 550 markets across 49 states, including 173 previously under-measured small and mid-sized markets, ahead of its appearance at NAB Show New York.
The expansion adds roughly 1 million vehicles to the platform’s coverage, bringing the total to 7.7 million U.S. vehicles. The portal also now includes weekday and weekend station rankings and enhanced, ready-to-share reports for Premium tier users.
“Until now, reliable radio data has mostly been a ‘big-market’ advantage,” said Joe D’Angelo, Xperi senior vice president of commercial strategy and partnerships. “The AutoStage Broadcaster Portal changes that by bringing actionable listening insights to broadcasters who have never had them.”
The platform measures more than 48 million hours of in-vehicle AM/FM listening each month. Newly added markets include Grand Junction, Colo.; Altoona, Pa.; Ithaca, N.Y.; and Key West—many of which had gone years without audience measurement. Each new market draws data from at least 1,600 vehicles. The South saw the largest gains, led by North Carolina and Texas with 17 markets each. Ohio’s coverage more than doubled, and Wyoming gained measurement in Cheyenne for the first time.
Xperi said it now publishes radio data in more than double the number of markets of any other audience measurement service. Stations in these markets can access data at no cost through the free standard tier.
Cumulus Media became the first commercial licensee of the Premium tier in July 2026. Zoellner Media Group and Seven Mountains Media have also signed on for Premium access.
