iHeartMedia's AC WLTW 106.7 FM sits
atop the market place in the September PPMs (6+ AQH, Total Week,
Total Persons) released Tuesday by Nielsen. Lite was up7.1—7.5.
Meanwhile, CBS Radio's Classic Hits WCBS 101.1 FM, which had been
gaining on WLTW, was off 6.8—6.6. CBS-FM remains Top 5
25-54.
In the #3 spot, Emmis' UrbanAC WBLS
107.5 FM reversed direction during September, moving 5.8—6.2.
iHM's Top40 WHTZ 100.3 FM dropped a half-share 5.4-4.9 and lands in
the #4 spot. At #5 its iHM's Urban/HipHop WWPR 105.1 FM thanks to a
4.1—4.8 spike.
In the News/Talk area..iHeartMedia's
WOR 710 was up a bit 2.1—2.2. And Cumulus Media's WABC dropped
again 1.4—1.3. That's the third down month in-a-row for WABC. And iconic WABC Top40 programmer Rick
Sklar must be turning-over in his grave. He regularly posted Cume
totals in excess of 5-million, now WABC's Cume is down to a mere
540,400 while crosstown talker WOR is at 1,204,700, more than double!
