The best of three Championship series between Vanderbilt and Virginia is a rematch of last year---just the third time that has happened in College World Series history. (In 2006-2007, Oregon State beat North Carolina both times, and in 1972-73, USC defeated Arizona State back-to-back years.) Vanderbilt is the defending champion, knocking off Virginia last year in three games.
The series starts tonight and each game broadcast can be heard on Westwood One Sports and westwoodonesports.com beginning at 7:45 PM ET with announcers Kevin Kugler, Scott Graham, and Ted Emrich.
