WW1 Sports Readies Big Game Coverage

For the 28th consecutive year and the 42nd time overall, Westwood One Sports, the official network radio partner for the National Football League, presents comprehensive coverage of the Super Bowl.

The network will feature a full schedule of Game Day programming leading up to kickoff of Super Bowl XLIX.  Super Bowl XLIX airs live from University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on Sunday, February 1, 2015 as Russell Wilson and the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks take on Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.  The Seahawks are trying to become the first team to repeat as champs since Tom Brady and the Patriots did it ten years ago.  This is Brady’s sixth Super Bowl, an NFL record for appearances by a quarterback.

All of Westwood One's game day programming is being offered to stations in stereo in addition to mono.  Millions of listeners around the globe will tune in to Westwood One’s Super Bowl XLIX coverage across 700 radio stations nationwide and in 175 countries via the American Forces Radio Network. Fans can also hear the broadcast on SiriusXM Radio, NFL.com/Audiopass, and NFL Mobile from Verizon.
