The move is effective Monday, effective February 2.
As Regional Programming Manager, Lawson will oversee all programming operations for the Colorado stations. His duties as Operations Manager will include managing the strategy and execution of Colorado Springs and Pueblo's eight combined stations.
Lawson will continue his duties as VP?Programming for Hispanic Media and Brand Manager for National Programming Platforms.
He joined the company in 2001 as Program Director of KFMD 95.7 FM in Denver. Prior to that, Lawson helped to launch one of the first Modern Adult Contemporary stations, KALC 105.9 FM Alice105-9 in Denver.
His more than 25 years of broadcast experience includes programming and on-air roles at classic rock, AC, Hot AC, adult hits and news talk stations. Lawson also served as on-air talent at Contemporary Hits, Smooth Jazz and Classic Hits stations in Chicago.
