Longtime Boston
area production wizard Eric Chaney suddenly passed September 16.
Chaney had a long career in Buston area radio. He was the
youngest personality every hired at Top40 WRKO 680 AM in the 70s.
He arrived at WHTT in the early 80s and also worked nights WVBF in the
mid-80s. In the late-80s he worked at Classic Rock WZLX, WBCS and WMJX.
Since the late ‘80s, he also operated Eric Chaney
Productions, where he voiced many national campaigns.
He was married to radio personality Karen Blake, where they
met while working at WKLB.
