FOX News Channel (FNC) finished the week of August 3rd with nearly 2.6 million weekday primetime viewers, outpacing ABC (2.2 million viewers) and CBS (2 million viewers), according to Nielsen Media Research Big Data + Panel.
Summer to date (6/21/26 - 8/09/26): FNC is leading broadcast networks NBC (2,576,000 viewers), ABC (2.3 million viewers), and CBS (2 million viewers) in weekday primetime viewers, averaging over 2.6 million viewers.
Year to date (12/29/25 - 8/09/26): FNC continues to beat CBS (2,852,000 viewers) in weekday primetime with 2,876,000 viewers.
In Monday – Sunday primetime, FNC garnered over 2.2 million viewers and 211,000 viewers in the 25-54 demo, besting ABC (2.1 million viewers) and CBS (2.1 million viewers) in primetime viewers and posting a nine percent growth week to week in the demo. In Monday – Sunday total day, FNC secured nearly 1.4 million viewers and 137,000 viewers in the 25-54 demo, marking an 11 percent growth week to week in the demo. Notably, CBS’ CBS Mornings (1,621,000 viewers; 255,000 A25-54) posted its 11th consecutive week under 300,000 viewers in the 25-54 demo.
FNC’s The Five continued to dominate the week, nabbing nearly 3.4 million viewers and 305,000 in the 25-54 demo. In the 6 PM/ET hour, Special Report with Bret Baier commanded almost 2.4 million viewers and 175,000 in the 25-54 demo. At 7 PM/ET, The Ingraham Angle clinched nearly 2.3 million viewers and 195,000 in the 25-54 demo. During the 8 PM/ET hour, Jesse Watters Primetime garnered more than 2.8 million viewers and 249,000 in the 25-54 demo. In the 9 PM/ET hour, Hannity notched over 2.3 million viewers and 241,000 in the 25-54 demo. At 11PM/ET, FOX News @ Night with Trace Gallagher saw more than 1.4 million viewers and 166,000 in the 25-54 demo.
FNC’s late-night success Gutfeld! (weeknights, 10 PM/ET) edged out the competition across the board with nearly 2.7 million primetime viewers and 299,000 viewers in the 25-54 demo, easily outpacing NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (1.5 million viewers; 291,000 A25-54), the airings of Comics Unleashed on CBS (751,000 viewers; 120,000 A25-54), HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher (487,000 viewers; 51,000 A25-54) and Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live (228,000 viewers; 78,000 A25-54).
FNC’s daytime programs maintained leads over the broadcast competition. America’s Newsroom (weekdays, 9AM-11AM/ET; 1.7 million viewers), The Faulkner Focus (weekdays, 11AM-12PM/ET; 1.6 million viewers), Outnumbered (weekdays, 12 PM/ET; 1.6 million viewers), America Reports (weekdays, 1PM-3PM/ET; 1.6 million viewers), The Story with Martha MacCallum (weekdays, 3-4PM/ET; 1.7 million viewers) and The Will Cain Show (weekdays, 4-5PM/ET; 1.9 million viewers) all surpassed ABC’s The View (1.5 million viewers), NBC’s Today with Jenna & Sheinelle (1.4 million viewers) and ABC’s GMA3 (1.3 million viewers).
On Saturday: Kayleigh McEnany's Saturday in America (Saturdays, 10AM-12PM/ET) commanded the weekend as the highest rated show on cable news with over 1.6 million viewers. FOX News Live (Saturdays, 12-2PM/ET) anchored by Aishah Hasnie and The Big Weekend Show (weekends, 5-8PM/ET), co-hosted by Tomi Lahren and Johnny Joey Jones, both averaged 1.2 million viewers. In primetime, Life, Liberty, & Levin (weekends, 8-9PM/ET) saw nearly 1.2 million viewers while My View with Lara Trump (Saturdays, 9PM/ET) clinched almost 1.1 million viewers. FOX News Saturday Night (Saturdays, 10PM-11PM/ET) hosted by Jimmy Failla secured nearly 1.3 million viewers.
On Sunday: Sunday Morning Futures (Sundays, 10 AM/ET) with Maria Bartiromo delivered almost 1.6 million viewers, leading the day. The Sunday Briefing (Sundays, 11 AM/ET), anchored by Peter Doocy, garnered over 1.3 million viewers. FOX News Live (Sundays, 12-2PM/ET), anchored by chief Washington correspondent Mike Emanuel, and The Big Weekend Show both posted nearly 1.3 million viewers. In primetime, Sunday Night in America with Trey Gowdy (Sundays, 9 PM/ET) and Life, Liberty, & Levin (weekends, 8-9PM/ET) both averaged 1.4 million viewers. One Nation with Brian Kilmeade (Sundays, 10PM/ET) nabbed 1.3 million viewers.
