Rod Stewart has canceled upcoming tour dates after a successful routine coronary stent procedure and is “very much on the mend.”
The 81-year-old British singer will take a four-week break from his “One Last Time” farewell tour but plans to return to performing soon. He is expected to resume his Las Vegas residency on September 24.
Stewart had been scheduled to perform through September 3, including six dates at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace as part of “The Encore Shows.” Those shows followed his recent announcement of additional Las Vegas performances set for August 18–29.
The residency continues a long-running series of Las Vegas appearances that began in 2011.
The pause comes after Stewart postponed a Las Vegas residency show earlier this year due to an unspecified illness.
His “One Last Time” tour, which began in 2024, has been a box-office success among the top global concert tours.
A two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee who has sold more than 250 million records worldwide, Stewart expressed gratitude for fans’ support and remains committed to returning to the stage.
