FOX News Channel (FNC) ended the week of July 20th with 2.7 million weekday primetime viewers and 243,000 viewers in the 25-54 demo, leading all of television, outranking NBC (2.6 million viewers), ABC (2.4 million viewers) and CBS (1.6 million viewers) according to Nielsen Media Research Big Data + Panel.
In Monday – Sunday primetime, FNC nabbed 2.3 million viewers, and in Monday – Sunday total day, FNC saw 1.4 million viewers. Notably, FNC delivered 94 of the top 100 telecasts in all of cable among total viewers.
The Five led all of cable news across the board, landing 3.3 million viewers and 306,000 in the 25-54 demo. During the 6 PM/ET hour, Special Report with Bret Baier garnered 2.5 million viewers and 210,000 in the 25-54 demo. At 7 PM/ET, The Ingraham Angle posted 2.3 million viewers and 204,000 in the 25-54 demo. At 8 PM/ET, Jesse Watters Primetime claimed 2.9 million viewers and 247,000 in the 25-54 demo. At 9 PM/ET, Hannity averaged 2.5 million viewers and 207,000 viewers in the 25-54 demo.
FNC’s Gutfeld! (10 PM/ET) commanded the late-night landscape, securing 2.7 million total viewers, leading ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! (1.5 million viewers), NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (1.3 million viewers), NBC's Late Night with Seth Meyers (782,000 viewers) and the airings of CBS' Comics Unleashed (682,000 viewers).
FNC’s daytime programs continued to outpace broadcast competition. Markedly, The Will Cain Show (4-5 PM/ET) beat out NBC’s Today Third Hour (1.9 million viewers) with 2 million viewers. America’s Newsroom (9AM-11AM/ET) and The Story with Martha MacCallum (3-4PM/ET) averaged 1.8 million viewers while The Faulkner Focus (11AM-12PM/ET) and Outnumbered (12-1PM/ET) each averaged 1.7 million viewers, surpassing CBS Mornings and NBC News Daily – which each posted 1.6 million viewers. America Reports (1PM-3PM/ET; 1.6 million viewers) outranked ABC’s GMA3 (1.4 million viewers) and Today with Jenna & Sheinelle (1.4 million viewers).
On Saturday: FOX & Friends Weekend led the day with 1.4 million viewers. The Big Weekend Show (5-8PM/ET) co-hosted by Tomi Lahren and Johnny Joey Jones saw 1.2 million viewers and The FOX Report with Jon Scott garnered 1.1 million viewers. In primetime, Life, Liberty, & Levin (8-9PM/ET) averaged 1.1 million viewers and FOX News Saturday Night (10PM-11PM/ET) hosted by Jimmy Failla nabbed 1.3 million viewers. My View with Lara Trump (9PM/ET) landed 1.2 million viewers.
On Sunday: Sunday Morning Futures (10 AM/ET) anchored by Maria Bartiromo claimed the top spot of the day, notching 1.6 million viewers. The Sunday Briefing (11 AM/ET), anchored this week by Peter Doocy, clinched 1.5 million viewers. FOX News Live (12-2PM/ET) anchored by correspondent Kevin Corke garnered 1.4 million viewers. The Big Weekend Show (5-8PM/ET), co-hosted by Tomi Lahren and Johnny Joey Jones, drew 1.4 million viewers. In primetime, Sunday Night in America with Trey Gowdy (9 PM/ET) claimed 1.5 million viewers, Life, Liberty, & Levin (8-9PM/ET) delivered 1.3 million viewers and One Nation with Brian Kilmeade (10PM/ET) saw 1.2 million viewers.
