A WILD 94.1 FM Tampa radio host was arrested for driving under the influence, resulting in injuries and property damage, according to WFLA-TV8 citing the Tampa Police Department.Officers said 52-year-old Orlando Davis (right), legally identified as Arlandal Davis, who is known as a host for Orlando and The Freak Show on Beasley Media's WILD 94.1, was involved in a crash Saturday morning around 2 a.m. in Tampa
Police said Davis allegedly ran a red light at the intersection of North Dale Mabry and West Kennedy Boulevard, crashing into the victim’s vehicle. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and their vehicle sustained significant damage.
Jail records confirmed Davis was bonded out around 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
According to his radio station biography, the Gary, Indiana native attended both Florida A&M and Florida State University, where he “cultivated a love of music that spanned his diverse upbringing.” Following an internship at a top 40 station in Tallahassee he made the move from an unpaid intern to the “corner office” in three years. He holds a variety of awards such as Billboard Awards Program Director of the Year and Personality of the Year.
Awards or not he put others in jeopardy by driving drunk. He needs to be accountable for his actions
