Nashville Radio: WPRT Adds Caroline Fenton To PM Drive

WPRT 102.7 FM has announced the hiring of former ESPN social media producer Caroline Fenton on Wednesday, as the co-host on Stillman & Company, which airs from 2-6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Barrett Sports Media first reported the news.

“As the daughter of two Tennessee natives, this state has always felt like home to me and I couldn’t be happier to be here representing some of the best sports fans in the country,” Fenton said in a station press release. “It’s an honor to learn from and work with Jared and the entire team at 102.5 The Game and to continue our reputation as Nashville’s Best Sports Talk."

Reese stepped away from the station in mid-December, stating he’d been contemplating leaving radio for a while. He had been with 102.5 The Game since 2015.

The 23-year-old Fenton is expected to debut with the station on April 5. She’s an LSU graduate and worked at ESPN as in intern before being promoted to full-time employee.

At ESPN, she served as a social media producer, working with the network’s livestreams and social branding efforts. Her work was seen on several ESPN shows including Monday Night Football Live, Baseball Tonight Live, Countdown to College Gameday, The College Football Show, The Heisman Show and NBA Hoop Streams.

Fenton also worked as freelance sports reporter and photographer for WAFB-TV and Emergent Method in Louisiana.

“We are extremely excited to be able to add Caroline to our talented team,” Program Director Ryan Porth said. “Caroline will pair well with Jared in the afternoons, becoming 102.5 The Game’s first full-time female on-air host in our nine-plus years of existence. She will also greatly assist the show and the station with our digital efforts across all platforms.”
