Fox News Names Amy Listerman As CFO

FOX News has appointed Amy Listerman the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Executive Vice President of Finance and Accounting, announced Co-Presidents Jack Abernethy and Bill Shine.

Listerman will oversee all financial operations for both FOX News Channel (FNC) and FOX Business Network (FBN). She will begin her new role on May 1st and will report directly to Abernethy and Shine.

In making the announcement, Shine and Abernethy said in a joint statement, “We are delighted to welcome Amy to the FOX News leadership team. Amy has an impressive track record of strong controllership, leading with integrity and partnering with management on growing new revenue streams. We look forward to implementing her expertise across all of our business units.”

Listerman added, “I have always admired the strength and success of FOX News and I am very excited to join the management team and help foster the network’s growth in this new era of television.”

Prior to joining FOX News, Listerman served as the CFO and Senior Vice President of Advertising Sales and head of Advertising Sales Data Strategy at Scripps Networks Interactive. There she was responsible for financial revenue and cost management of the roughly $2 billion advertising sales division. She joined the company in 2012, and saw her role expanded in 2016 to include leadership of the Scripps Data and Analytics organization, managing a team of 35 across the finance, data science & digital research and insights departments.
