McQuaid said: "I'm thrilled to be returning to KFOG, which I've always considered my radio home. Renee, Mike (No Name) and I are three friends that love the Bay Area and I know that will make for a fun, informative and sometimes silly start to the day. I can't wait!"
Nelson said: “Growing up as a kid in the East Bay, attending college in the South Bay, and working for years in San Francisco, the weight and legacy of the KFOG call letters are not lost on me. KFOG has always been the true one-of-a-kind soundtrack to life in the Bay Area, and I am beyond excited to be a part of that. Renee and Greg are two Bay Area originals and are super talents. I first met them both in the late 90's and have always been a huge fan of what they bring to the table on and off the air. So yeah, getting to work with two of the best radio personalities on the legendary KFOG-- I'm definitely living the dream!"
