Lane moves to Pensacola from Lafayette, LA, where she was Program Director and afternoon on-air personality for KXKC/NASH FM 99.1.
Lane, who began her broadcasting career as a television news producer, has almost 20 years experience in radio broadcasting across multiple markets, including Lafayette; Monroe, LA; and Jonesboro, AR. Lane holds a B.S. degree in Radio/Television from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.
Mike McVay, Senior Vice President, Corporate/Programming for Cumulus said: "Jeni has done an exceptional job for Cumulus. We are lucky to have such depth in programming that we can take advantage of our bench. She will be a great addition to our NASH platform in the Florida Panhandle."

WXBM-FM despirately needs a whole lot more than a new P-D to pull it out of its long and self imposed troubles. It has been sinking in the ratings for several years for a number of reasons, the GM, PD and the format. Its air sound is extremely predictable, repetitious, sloppy and its air talent is boring. Its everything radio is not supposed to be. It needs a broader and better music rotation clock, a tighter air sound, new and lively air talent and a news department which does news and not history taken from the morning newspaper. Keep the talk short, relevent and keep it moving. It also needs severe weather coverage. No station in the Pensacola market does any of these things. Radio should be entertaining, fun, unpredictable and dependable. I wish Ms. Lane well in her new position. She is locked into a predictable format and it will be hard to make any headway.
