KMOX news anchor John O’Connor suffered a fatal heart attack, Friday night.
He was 52, according to KMOX.
He graduated from Maryville College in 1985 and then worked at television stations in Oklahoma, Texas and Rhode Island before returning to St. Louis in 1992. He spent 6 years as Assignment Editor at KSDK-TV, and 2 years as Managing Editor of KDNL-TV.
O'Connor joined the KMOX news staff in October of 2004. He also was working at a local advertising agency at the time of his death.
