NPR Host Parties With The Obamas

Michelle Norris
President Barack Obama attended a cocktail party at the home of NPR host Michele Norris Johnson on Monday night, according to Dylan Byers at Politico.

Norris and her husband, Broderick Johnson, who was an adviser on the Obama 2012 campaign, hosted the president, the first lady and others at their home in West Tisbury, Mass., on Martha's Vineyard, where the Obamas are vacationing.

Norris, a former host of NPR's "All Things Considered," left the organization in October 2011 after her husband accepted a senior adviser position with the Obama campaign. She returned in February 2013 in an expanded role as both host and special correspondent.

Tom’s Take:  Well, la-dee-da!  Norris by the way pronounces her first name ‘Me-Shell’.
