Norfolk Radio: Tiffany McCormick Named GM

Saga Communications has promoted Tiffany McCormack to general manager of Hampton Roads Media Group in Norfolk, Virginia. She will oversee Active Rock WNOR-FM and Classic Rock WAFX (106.9 The Fox).

McCormack succeeds Carol Commander, who has left the company after more than 25 years. Commander had been general manager since November 2022.

McCormack previously served as director of sales for the two-station group. She joined Hampton Roads Media Group in 2014 as an account executive and was later promoted to digital sales manager. She will report to Saga Communications COO Wayne Leland.

“Tiffany is a proven leader who combines a deep understanding of our business with an unwavering commitment to our clients, our employees, and the Hampton Roads community,” Leland said. “Throughout her career she has consistently delivered results, developed strong teams, and embraced innovation.”
