Miley Cyrus has earned her first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 in more than a decade, as Bass Persuades debuts atop the chart dated Oct. 3 with 61,000 equivalent album units in the United States for the week ending Sept. 24.
The 10th studio album, released Sept. 18 through Atlantic Records and billed under the mononym Miley, is her sixth Billboard 200 leader and 16th top 10 set, counting work credited to Miley Cyrus and her Hannah Montana soundtracks. She last topped the tally in October 2013 with Bangerz.
Of the opening-week total, 47,000 units came from album sales and 14,000 from streaming equivalent albums, equal to about 14.22 million on-demand streams of the record’s songs. First-week sales were lifted by an extensive physical and digital rollout: 16 vinyl variants (one with a bonus track), nine CD versions (one with a bonus track), six download editions, and a cassette.
The title track, released Sept. 3 as the lead single, debuted at No. 35 on the Billboard Hot 100. Bass Persuades follows 2025’s Something Beautiful, which peaked at No. 4. Cyrus is the third act in 2026 to wait at least 10 years between Billboard 200 No. 1 albums, after Bruno Mars and A$AP Rocky. She is scheduled to play two Hollywood Bowl shows in Los Angeles on Oct. 16 and 18.
