OKC Radio: Janet Ray Steps Aways From KJ103


Janet Ray, a longtime radio personality and co-host of the "TJ, Janet & Jrod" morning show on iHeartMedia’s CHR “KJ 103” 102.7 KJYO in Oklahoma City, signed off the airwaves for the last time on Monday, marking her retirement from radio. 

She announced her departure on March 10, 2025, to focus on her business counseling first responders.

Janet had been with KJ103 since joining the “TJ & Tooker” morning show in 1999, with a brief stint at sister station 94.7 KQSR, and remained a key part of the station’s morning show, which was ranked #1 in the market and won "Personality of the Year." 

Known for engaging segments like "Group Therapy" Wednesdays and the "2nd Date Update" podcast, she connected deeply with listeners, as reflected in emotional posts on X from fans who grew up listening to her. 

Her retirement was met with heartfelt farewells, with listeners expressing sadness and gratitude for her impact.
