On Tuesday's episode of The View, Arnold Schwarzenegger sidestepped Joy Behar's attempt to spark anti-ICE sentiment, instead sharing an inspiring story about his journey in the U.S.
Behar asked, "You’re an immigrant yourself. Did you have a visceral reaction to what ICE is doing in LA?"
Schwarzenegger, urging Democrats and Republicans to unite on the issue, responded thoughtfully despite co-host Sunny Hostin’s attempts to interrupt.
"I’m so proud and happy that the American people embraced me," he told Behar. "I came here at 21 with nothing and built a career. Only in America could I achieve my bodybuilding career, acting career, become governor, and create a beautiful family."
Everybody stop and watch this.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, a legal immigrant, successful actor, and former California Governor, just left The View STUNNED.
They attempted to get him to condemn ICE raids and what did he do?

His words drew applause, but Schwarzenegger also addressed "foreigners" engaging in illegal activities, saying, "This is the greatest country in the world, the land of opportunity. Because I’m a proud American and immigrant, I believe we need to do things legally."
He called immigrants involved in illegal acts "not smart," a statement that followed applause and came amid recent LA protests where demonstrators burned an autonomous car.
