Meruelo Media’s “Power 106” KPWR has revamped its on-air lineup, with a key highlight being the shift of Justin Credible’s “Liftoff Show” from its long-standing nighttime slot to afternoons. This change, announced on March 11, 2025, reflects the station’s efforts to refresh its programming more than a year after losing its midday and afternoon hosts, aiming to re-engage its audience with a dynamic new schedule.
Justin Credible, a well-known figure at Power 106, has been a staple of the station since joining as Imaging Director and later hosting the “Liftoff Show” in the night slot starting in 2016. His move to afternoons marks a significant shift, positioning his high-energy mix of Hip Hop, celebrity interviews, freestyles, and engaging content to capture listeners during a key daytime period.

The revamp extends beyond Credible’s move. Replacing him in the nighttime slot is B-NYCE, who will host from 6-10 p.m., with DJ Carisma mixing from 6-8 p.m., bringing fresh voices and vibes to the evening audience. B-NYCE shared his enthusiasm, stating, “I’m excited to bring my ‘Talk 2 Me Nyce’ show to nights with DJ Carisma in the mix from 6-8 p.m.!” Additional changes include “Brown Bag Mornings” shifting an hour earlier to 5-10 a.m., and Program Director DJ E-Man introducing the “Power Midday Mix” from 12-1 p.m. weekdays, rounding out a restructured lineup designed to maintain Power 106’s reputation as a leading Hip Hop outlet in Los Angeles.
