Audacy is celebrating acclaimed superstar Lainey Wilson with “Lainey Wilson: On The Record” on Sunday, August 25. Lainey will be the first Country artist to participate in Audacy’s new national album release franchise, which promotes the latest work by some of the biggest music stars. Listeners can tune in to Audacy’s Country local stations and on the free Audacy app at 7:00 p.m. local time as she plays songs from the new album and shares the stories behind them.
Announced in May 2024, “On The Record” deepens the relationship between artists and their fans, bringing listeners closer to their favorite musicians than ever before. Previous “On The Record” specials include Billie Eilish, twenty one pilots and Camila Cabello.

“On The Record” culminates a “Whirlwind Weekend” celebrating Lainey for the release of her third studio album, Whirlwind, available this Friday, August 23. Throughout the weekend, the Company’s Country brands will deliver specialty content and experiences on-air, across digital platforms and in person at an exclusive Audacy LIVE album release party hosted by 103.7 KSON (KSON-FM) straight from the beach at Belmont Park in San Diego.
