Legendary Memphis radio icon Bobby O’Jay has passed away, reports ABC-TV24.
Tuesday morning, iHeartMedia confirmed the death of O’Jay at age 68. A cause of death has not been released.
The WDIA 1070 AM DJ and program director worked in radio for more than 40 years.
O’Jay was inducted into the Tennessee Radio Hall of Fame in 2021 and nominated for the National Radio Hall of Fame. He was also honored by iHeartMedia Memphis in 2018.
