ESPN Anchor Sage Steele, who co-hosts ESPN's SportsCenter, told Jay Cutler on his Uncut with Jay Cutler podcast she 'didn't want to' get the COVID-19 vaccine but took it in order to keep her job.

'I respect everyone's decision, I really do, but to mandate it is sick and it's scary to me in many ways,' she said.

The Walt Disney Company announced July 30 that all its salaried and non-union hourly US employees must be fully vaccinated by September 30.

Steele this week also rallied behind Orlando Magic basketball star Jonathan Isaac on social media over his comments about the vaccine. Earlier this month, she also hit out at children being required to wear face masks pointing to statistics showing more kids had been shot in Chicago than died of COVID-19.
