Milwaukee Radio: 'Big Unit' Is Back On WOKY-AM

Bill "The Big Unit" Michaels, who left "The Fan" on WSSP 1250 AM as part of a programming shakeup in January, started "The Bill Michaels Show" on iHeartMedia's Sports WOKY 920 AM Monday morning. 

The show, which Michaels has been broadcasting from Mid-West Family Communications' sports/talk station in Madison, WOZN-AM/FM, will air on WOKY weekdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Michaels and WOKY announced the move on Twitter. 

Before his departure in January, Michaels had been at WSSP since 2011. Before that, he spent more than a dozen years at WTMJ 620 AM, including a stint as sports director. 

Before Michaels was added to the lineup, WOKY had been airing shows from the Fox Sports network almost exclusively, along with Wisconsin Badgers and Milwaukee Admirals games, reports The Milwaukee Sentinel.

Michaels' show bumps "The Herd With Colin Cowherd" to the 3 to 6 p.m. slot, pushing Doug Gottlieb's Fox Sports talk show from afternoon drive time.
