Bay Area Radio: Celeste Perry Joins KBLX

Celeste Perry
Veteran San Francisco personality Celeste Perry is returning to the air.  She has joined KBLX for fill-ins.

Perry has been a popular on-air presence in San Francisco for over 25 years.  She’s brought her  wry wit and keen observational style to shows on KFRC, KYA, KKSF and most recently iHeartMedia’s KOSF.  She’s also the long running host of legendary KOFY TV’s nighttime programming.

Operations & Program Director, Elroy Smith, said, “I have been a fan of Celeste Perry for quite some time. The timing is now right for her to join our team. Her warm, charismatic, classy, and engaging personality are perfect qualities for the KBLX brand.”

Perry said, “Who could lure me out of my semi-retired-from-radio state-of-mind? KBLX, that’s who! I have long admired the talent, the music, and their sincere commitment to community. I’m feeling blessed for this chance to be part of the KBLX family.”

She was inducted into the Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame in 2014.
