CBC Radio One continues to lead the pack, bringing in a hefty 14.4 share, while talk powerhouse 680 CJOB was close behind with 11.0. QX 104 comes in again as the #1 FM-only station with 10.1 for the 12+ market.
QX 104 general manager Heidi Rasmussen, of The Jim Pattison Broadcast Group, tells ChrisD.ca the station remains first for the A25-54 demo from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
“We are also very pleased with the performance of 94-3 The Drive in our target demo of A35-64 as we take the #3 spot in the market,” Rasmussen said.
“We are extremely delighted with our results today, thanks to the leadership of Janet Trecarten (QX 104 program director) and David Drake (94-3 The Drive program director).”
Other big winners towards the top of the chart were 103.1 Virgin Radio (Bell Media) and KiSS 102.3 (Rogers), who both increased their shares from the spring ratings book. Power 97 (Corus) also went up nearly two points.
