D-C Radio: Cumulus Signs Bill Hess To New Multi-Year Deal


Cumulus Media announces that it has signed Bill Hess to a new multi-year contract extension as Vice President, News/Talk and Program Director, WMAL-AM/FM in Washington DC.

Hess’ 41-year radio career has spanned positions on-air and in news/talk programming as Program Director for stations including WTEM in Washington, D.C.; WHJJ in Providence, RI; and WHYN-AM/FM in Springfield, MA. He was also Brand Manager for Clear Channel/iHeartRadio and served as SVP/Programming for Air America Media. In addition, Hess has programmed music stations including WASH and WBIG in Washington, D.C.
