K-C Radio: KCMO-FM Imports Dave Fogel For Middays

Cumulus Media has announced that WLS 94.7 FM Chicago morning personality Dave Fogel is adding Classic Hits KCMO 94.9 FM in Kansas City, KS to his plate.

Fogel will host midday on KCMO-FM.  He started his radio career at KMXV in Kansas City, and has held on-air positions in markets including: San Diego, Washington, D.C., Detroit, and most recently, Chicago, at WJMK-FM and WLS-FM. His show airs weekdays from 10am-2pm on 94.9 KCMO.

Fogel, the son of Kansas City radio and television legend Jerry Fogel, was exposed to celebrities and the entertainment world at a young age. He was raised on the Missouri side of Kansas City but moved to the Kansas side when he started his own family with his wife, Melanie, a Raytown native. Fogel is a Mizzou Tiger, and shared a house with Brad Pitt while at the University of Missouri (and fellow student Sheryl Crow gave the guys singing lessons of “The Sweetheart of Sigma Chi” song!).
