In honor of the 120th anniversary of Labor Day, Westwood One is presenting a four-hour Labor Day weekend special with country music superstar Brad Paisley as he hosts a salute to America’s working men and women.
Workin’ Hard Country Nation with Brad Paisley is an all-star tribute featuring some of the most popular working songs, including “Shiftwork” by Kenny Chesney and George Strait, Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffett’s “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere,” Brooks & Dunn’s “Hard Workin’ Man,” Eric Church’s “Drink in My Hand,” and Florida Georgia Line’s “Round Here.”
In addition to an incredible playlist of songs, Workin’ Hard Country Nation with Brad Paisley highlights country stars Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, Florida Georgia Line, and Miranda Lambert as they talk about their jobs as artists and performers. Several others, including Eric Church, Brantley Gilbert, Jerrod Niemann, Thomas Rhett and many more, share stories about their pre-fame jobs.
Throughout the special, Brad will also be celebrating his new album Moonshine in the Trunk which comes out on Monday, August 25, 2014. Paisley’s current hit single “River Bank” will be highlighted as well as four additional songs from the album.
Fresh off the visibility of Paisley’s August 29th performance on ABC’s Good Morning America, stations can air Workin’ Hard Country Nation with Brad Paisley Saturday, August 30th, through Monday, September 1st between 6:00 am and 12 midnight.
