NYC Radio: Thousands Attend Cumulus' 'Bark In The Park'

Cumulus New York’s 4th Annual 'Bark In The Park' last weekend was a huge success with 7,5000 listeners attending.

The event was co-psonsored by Cumulus station Talk WABC 770 AM, AC WPLJ 95.5 FM, Country WNSH 94.7 FM NashFM, and the new WNBM Radio 103.9.

The event hosted by 77 WABC’s legendary Mark Levin Saturday, August 2nd at Overpeck Park in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey.

The North Shore Animal League America & Bergen County Animal Shelter/Adoption Center were on-site with many dogs up for adoption. Cumulus New York's mission of the day was to find a home for as many pets as possible. It was a great success - 19 dogs and 4 cats were adopted!

The day also featured a wide array of vendors, services, food, demonstrations, and activities for families and dog lovers alike. The most popular event of the day was the “My Dog Looks Like Me” contest. Attendees voted on-site for their favorites.

Radio hosts from all 4 stations were there –Todd Pettengill and his morning show & Race Taylor from WPLJ, Kelly Ford from NASH FM 94.7, Roxie from Radio 103.9, and Geraldo Rivera, Curtis Sliwa, Ron Kuby, & Mark Levin from 77 WABC. With 7,500 in attendance throughout the day, it was a great day of family fun celebrating man’s best friend!
