Second Hoax Jock Expected To Return Soon

Royal hoaxer  radio personality  Mel Greig, whose life was turned upside down following the tragic suicide of a UK nurse, has revealed that she will return to work at 2DayFM.

The Sunday Telegraph spotted the embattled radio host as she sipped champagne with a girlfriend at an inner-west pub yesterday.

Greig has been keeping a low profile since a prank call made with co-host Michael "MC" Christian to the hospital treating Kate Middleton in December. Subsequently, the nurse who answered the call committed suicide.

While Christian quietly returned to the airwaves last month, hosting Southern Cross Austereo's FoxFM Hit Music! segment in Melbourne, Greig's future remained up in the air. Yesterday afternoon, she appeared in good spirits, dressed in a yellow jacket as she caught up with a friend at Three Weeds pub in Rozelle.

"Someone from the station will be in contact with News Limited when I return," she said. However, the bubbly blonde said she had been gagged from further comment.

"I'm not supposed to say anything. I'm so sorry."
