The station, formerly KBAY-FM, is now KJNV-FM. K-Love bought the frequency to expand its service in the market.
The sale included only the 94.5 FM facility. Connoisseur kept the KBAY name and Country format, which continues as Bay Country. Before the closing, the company moved that programming from 94.5 to the stronger 98.5 FM signal, previously home to classic rock KUFX.

The move expanded KBAY’s coverage in the South Bay and nearby communities while keeping its Country format and air staff, including Danny Miller, Tony Michaels and Emily Harlan.
Connoisseur founder and CEO Jeff Warshaw said when the deal was announced that K-Love had approached the company about buying the frequency to grow its Christian programming in San Jose. Connoisseur then arranged to sell the 94.5 signal and keep Bay Country.
KUFX’s KFOX classic rock programming moved to KUFX-FM-HD2 and remains available online.
