Cumulus Media's CHR station Q99.7 (WWWQ) in Atlanta is launching a new afternoon drive show, "The Kristin Show", debuting Monday, January 26, 2026, in the 2-7 p.m. slot.
Hosted by longtime Atlanta personality Kristin Klingshirn, the program will feature Klingshirn alongside a yet-to-be-announced co-host.
The move positions her to anchor afternoons on the station following the end of The Bert Show last October, where she served as co-host since joining in 2011.Klingshirn succeeds Jade Jones in the daypart. Jones, who had held down afternoons on Q99.7 since January 2021 after previously hosting nights, transitioned earlier this month to co-host the new nationally syndicated Westwood One CHR nighttime program "Nightly with Jade & Tyler" alongside KMJK Kansas City morning host Tyler Frye.

Klingshirn brings extensive CHR experience to the role. Before her 14-year run with The Bert Show in Atlanta, she co-hosted mornings for five years at iHeartMedia CHR "G105" (WDCG) in Raleigh. Her career also includes time at Rock 100.1 (WKQQ) in Lexington, Kentucky.
The launch of "The Kristin Show" comes as Q99.7 refreshes its lineup, building on Klingshirn's established connection with Atlanta listeners through her previous on-air work, motherhood insights, and community involvement, including promoting initiatives like Bert's Big Adventure.
Meanwhile, Q99.7 FM has still not announced a morning replacement for The Bert Show. The flagship morning slot remains without a permanent replacement nearly three months after the show's finale.
The Bert Show, hosted by Bert Weiss, concluded its 25-year run on October 24, 2025, with Weiss announcing his retirement. The personality-driven morning program, syndicated through Westwood One and originating from Q99.7 since its debut in 2001 (initially on Q100), built a loyal following in Atlanta and beyond through candid discussions, humor, community initiatives like Bert's Big Adventure, and a cast that included longtime co-host Kristin Klingshirn.
Since the show's end, Q99.7 has been in a transitional phase. The station has aired imaging promoting that it is "updating," with the process expected to wrap up by Monday, January 26, 2026.
