Streamer Peacock President To Exit

Kelly Campbell, the president of Peacock, is leaving her role as part of a corporate reorganization at NBCUniversal.

Kelly Campbell
Campbell joined Peacock in 2021, after previously serving as president of Hulu, and has led the streaming platform's growth to 36 million subscribers.

During her tenure, Peacock has expanded its offerings, including exclusive sports coverage, such as an NFL Wild Card game and the Olympic Games Paris 2024. Despite this growth, Campbell's departure comes amidst a larger restructuring effort at NBCUniversal, which includes spinning off its cable networks into a separate company.

The company won't be hiring a direct replacement for Campbell's role, instead, Matt Strauss will oversee the Peacock streaming business as chairman of NBCUniversal Media Group ⁴. Campbell's exit marks a significant change in leadership for Peacock, and it will be interesting to see how the platform evolves under new guidance.
