Throwback Brands, through its syndication partner, Skyview Networks, has announced the expansion of its affiliate network across Throwback Nation Radio, Throwback 2K and Retro Pop Reunion, now topping 175 affiliates between the three shows.
Throwback Nation Radio, a nightly program available seven nights a week, increased its reach across the US with over 10 new affiliates joining its lineup, including WSNY-FM Columbus, OH and KIOA-FM Des Moines, IA. Throwback Brands’ weekend-only show, Throwback 2K, saw exceptional growth as well adding WDJX-FM Louisville, KY and WXLC-FM Waukegan, IL, plus 12 more, bringing the hits of the early 2000’s to new audiences nationwide. Furthermore, the latest program to join the Throwback family, Retro Pop Reunion, also added new stations to its roster, including WMQX-FM Scranton–Wilkes Barre, PA and WFDL-FM Fond Du Lac, WI.
“As radio listeners tell us they’re coming to us for connection and personalities more than ever, we’re here to help,” said Tony Lorino, Founder and CEO of Throwback Brands and Monday-Saturday host of Throwback Nation Radio. “We’re not just ‘night or weekend shows’ to our affiliates; we’re partners in their growth, and we’re so excited to see so many of our partners succeeding on so many levels.”
The evolution across all three shows under the Throwback Brands umbrella demonstrates the significant representation of formats that each of them carries and the unique connections to their audiences.
Jeanne-Marie Condo, President of Network Partnerships and Chief Revenue Officer commented, “A18-49 working out and having fun, listening to the music from the ‘80s and ‘90s, paired with A25-54 enjoying great music is what makes Throwback Brands a great listening experience. The shows are dynamic and energetic, allowing for elevated opportunities that advertisers are seeking. It is a fun, winning platform already driving results for ad partners.”
