Des Moines Radio: Cumulus Stations' St. Jude Radiothon Raises $78K

95 KGGO’s “B-Sox”, Nash-FM 97.3’s Tim White, and “Danger & Lindsay” (Nash FM)

Cumulus Media has announced that Des Moines Country radio station Nash-FM 97.3 (KHKI) and Classic Rock station 95 KGGO delivered again this year to help the children at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through the annual Music Gives to St. Jude Radiothon. The two-day on-air and online fundraiser was held on both stations Wednesday, February 22nd, and Thursday, February 23rd. This year’s total topped $77,900 in donations from the stations’ listeners.

Jack Taddeo, Vice President/Market Manager, Cumulus Des Moines, said: “Regardless of economic headwinds felt by donors this year, Nash-FM and KGGO listeners came through again for the children and families of Iowans who rely on St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.”
