IN Radio: Mike Shamus To Manage Neuhoff Lafayette Cluster

Mike Shamus, former corporate Vice President of Programming, WKOA 105.3 FM Program Director and Operations Manager for the Lafayette cluster was named VP/ General Manager for Neuhoff Media Lafayette.

“Shamus, as we all know him, is an exceptional leader. His work with our award-winning programming team demonstrated his capacity for team building and getting the best out of people. When this position came available, he was the natural choice. I know he will lead this market to a new level,” said Beth Neuhoff, CEO of Neuhoff Media.

“Shamus has multi-tasking down to a science,” said Neuhoff COO, Mike Hulvey. “I’m excited to see how he puts his unique brand on the community he so dearly loves as General Manager.”

Mike Shamus was named by Radio Ink Magazine as one of the Best Country Program Directors for 2019, two consecutive years in a row, is a two time Spectrum Award winner for “Broadcast Team of the Year” for Shamus and Annie in the Morning and was a member Leadership Lafayette. Prior to Neuhoff, Shamus was the Operation Manager in Lafayette with Schurz Communications.
