As afternoon drive host, listeners can tune in to hear DVE’s unique blend of Rock music, comedy and sports.
He rsucceeds Sean McDowell, the renowned WDVE DJ, who is retiring. He began with the station in 1993. His last afternoon drive shift will coincide with the arrival of Queen and Adam Lambert in Pittsburgh.
“We’re thrilled to have Chad join the WDVE family,” said John Moschitta, 102.5 WDVE Program Director. “Tyson’s charismatic personality, accompanied by his extensive knowledge of music and sports, make him the perfect fit for our listeners and having Russ Rose as evening host is the icing on the cake for our program lineup.”
“One of my goals since starting my radio career has always been to work at 102.5 WDVE in Pittsburgh,” said Tyson. “When I got the call, my wife asked me how it felt and I said, ‘Remember when Santonio Holmes caught that game-winning pass in Super Bowl 43 and we beat the Cardinals? It feels like that.’”
