St. Louis Radio: New Country 92.3 FM JingleFest Draws SRO Crowd


New Country WIL 92.3 FM celebrated a night of Christmas cheer, with several "magical" moments that took place during last weekend's Jinglefest concert.

According to New Country 92.3, fans braved the St. Louis' frigid winter cold snap waiting to enter the venue see watch Country artists Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Lanco and Jordan Davis  at "Jinglefest to Remember".

During the show. Kara, a 9 year old from the bi-state region, who recently lost her father. Kara’s mother took her to her FIRST concert: Jinglefest. Kara held up a sign asking for a hug from co-headliner Kane Brown. Kane picked Kara up, gave her a big hug and introduced her to the crowd.

After the show, New Country 92.3 PM Drive hosts Mason and Remy called Kara and her mother. Kara said it felt like a hug from “her daddy.” And believe it or not, the hug was forecast in a fortune cookie! Watch the hug between Kara and Kane and hear her “post hug” interview here.

Other special moments during the concert included new troop recruits being sworn into the Marine Corp, and even a marriage proposal!


According to New Country 92.3 Program Director Scott Roddy, "This year's Jinglefest concert was truly a testament of the power of country music to bring us all together. I am proud of our entire "Home Team" for creating a memorable evening for so many listeners and fans."
