Beyonce, John Legend Perform At Obama Birthday Bash

Pop stars Beyonce and John Legend performed and many celebrities were present at First Lady Michelle Obama's 50th birthday party Saturday night (January 18th) at the White House.

The administration didn't reveal many details about the bash, but political analyst and party attendee Donna Brazile told CNN the next day, "The most moving tribute came [from] Barack Obama, who talked about the woman he met and fell in love with."

Other attendees reportedly included actor Samuel Jackson, singer Smokey Robinson, singer and actress Jennifer Hudson, basketball great Magic Johnson, former President Bill Clinton and his wife, ex-secretary of state Hillary Clinton, Paul McCartney, and folk singing legend James Taylor.
