FOX News Channel (FNC) wrapped up the week of July 27th with 2.7 million weekday primetime viewers, dominating all of television, surpassing NBC (2.6 million viewers), ABC (2.3 million viewers) and CBS (2.2 million viewers) according to Nielsen Media Research Big Data + Panel.
Year to date (12/29/26 - 8/02/26), FNC has overtaken CBS in weekday primetime viewers, averaging 2,885,000 viewers while CBS is averaging 2,878,000 viewers. In Monday – Sunday primetime, FNC secured over 2.3 million viewers, marking a two percent increase week to week and leading CBS (2.1 million viewers) and ABC (2.1 million viewers).
In Monday – Sunday total day, FNC notched nearly 1.5 million viewers, marking a four percent increase week to week and a three percent increase year over year. Notably, CBS’ CBS Mornings (1,568,000 viewers; 228,000 A25-54) continued its downward trajectory, delivering its lowest-rated week in the program’s history, posting under 1.6 million viewers for the third consecutive week. The week also marks the program’s tenth straight week below 300,000 viewers in the 25-54 demo.
FNC’s The Five continued to lead the week, claiming nearly 3.4 million viewers and 302,000 in the 25-54 demo. In the 6 PM/ET hour, Special Report with Bret Baier garnered almost 2.6 million viewers and 198,000 in the 25-54 demo. At 7 PM/ET, The Ingraham Angle saw 2.5 million viewers and 226,000 in the 25-54 demo. During the 8 PM/ET hour, Jesse Watters Primetime clinched more than 3.1 million viewers and 298,000 in the 25-54 demo. In the 9 PM/ET hour, Hannity delivered nearly 2.6 million viewers and 236,000 in the 25-54 demo. At 11PM/ET, FOX News @ Night with Trace Gallagher secured almost 1.5 million viewers and 132,000 in the 25-54 demo.
FNC’s late-night hit Gutfeld! (weeknights, 10 PM/ET) edged out the competition with nearly 2.7 million primetime viewers, easily surpassing NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (1.5 million viewers), NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers (799,000 viewers), the airings of Comics Unleashed on CBS (783,000 viewers), Comedy Central’s The Daily Show (528,000 viewers), HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher (409,000) and Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live (335,000 viewers).
FNC’s daytime programs continued to dominate the broadcast competition. America’s Newsroom (weekdays, 9AM-11AM/ET; 1.9 million viewers), The Faulkner Focus (weekdays, 11AM-12PM/ET; 1.9 million viewers), Outnumbered (weekdays, 12 PM/ET; 1.9 million viewers), America Reports (weekdays, 1PM-3PM/ET; 1.6 million viewers), The Story with Martha MacCallum (weekdays, 3-4PM/ET; 1.8 million viewers) and The Will Cain Show (weekdays, 4-5PM/ET; 2 million viewers) all outpaced NBC’s Today with Jenna & Sheinelle (1.4 million viewers) and ABC’s GMA3 (1.3 million viewers).
On Saturday: FOX News Saturday Night (Saturdays, 10PM-11PM/ET) hosted by Jimmy Failla commanded the day with over 1.4 million viewers. Kayleigh McEnany's Saturday In America (Saturdays, 10AM-12PM/ET) posted 1.4 million viewers, FOX News Live (Saturdays, 12-2PM/ET) anchored by Aishah Hasnie claimed 1.3 million viewers and The Big Weekend Show (weekends, 5-8PM/ET), co-hosted by Tomi Lahren and Johnny Joey Jones, clinched more than 1.4 million viewers. In primetime, Life, Liberty, & Levin (weekends, 8-9PM/ET) notched 1.3 million viewers while My View with Lara Trump (Saturdays, 9PM/ET) posted 1.4 million viewers.
On Sunday: The Big Weekend Show (weekends, 5-8PM/ET) was the highest rated show of the weekend in cable news with almost 1.6 million viewers. Sunday Morning Futures (Sundays, 10 AM/ET) with Maria Bartiromo delivered more than 1.5 million viewers, The Sunday Briefing (Sundays, 11 AM/ET), anchored by Jacqui Heinrich, claimed almost 1.3 million viewers, and FOX News Live (Sundays, 12-2PM/ET) anchored by chief Washington correspondent Mike Emanuel secured 1.3 million viewers. In primetime, Sunday Night in America with Trey Gowdy (Sundays, 9 PM/ET) led the way, averaging almost 1.5 million viewers. Life, Liberty, & Levin (weekends, 8-9PM/ET) saw over 1.3 million viewers and One Nation with Brian Kilmeade (Sundays, 10PM/ET) saw nearly 1.3 million viewers.
