NEPA Radio: CHR WKRZ-FM Adds Justin Scheman For Mornings

Audacy's Contemporary Hit Radio (CHR) station 98.5 WKRZ, Scraton/Wilkes-Barre, Pa has added Justin Scheman as a co-host to its morning show alongside Lissa Krahnke. starting Monday.

This change was announced Friday, via a post on X by the station, with Lissa Krahnke. Krahnke described Scheman as "kind, funny, smart, and talented," expressing excitement about welcoming him to the Northeast PA audience.

The addition of Scheman follows the retirement of longtime morning host Rocky Rhodes, who announced his departure from the station in April, with his final show airing on May 1, 2025. Rhodes had been a fixture at WKRZ for 35 years, and Krahnke, who had been his co-host for 15 years, continued as a key part of the morning show.

Krahnke, originally from Michigan, has been with WKRZ since 2010, initially joining as a morning show producer before becoming co-host in 2012 after Rhodes’ former co-host, Sue Barre, left to focus on her real estate business.

Scheman previously contributed to several prominent shows, including “Tony & Kris” at WIVK in Knoxville, “Rat & Puff” at WDZH in Detroit, “Matthew Blades in the Morning” at KMXP in Phoenix, “Chio in the Morning” at WRDW-FM in Philadelphia, “Kevin & Virginia” at WLDI in West Palm Beach, and “Bob & Madison” at WDCG in Raleigh.
