Cumulus Media announces that Des Moines Country radio station Nash-FM 97.3 (KHKI) and Classic Rock station 95 KGGO presented the annual St. Music Gives to St. Jude Kids Radiothon, benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The two-day on-air and online fundraiser was held on both stations Wednesday, February 28th, and Thursday, February 29th. This year’s total topped $78,000 in listener donations.
Jack Taddeo, Vice President/Market Manager, Cumulus Des Moines, said: “Once again this year, the people of central Iowa came through on Nash-FM and 95 KGGO for the children and families relying on St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.”
Andrew Vonahnen, Program Director, Nash-FM 97.3, commented: “Even in tough times we strive to exceed the previous year's total. As we have seen in the past, many of our new partners in hope will continue to give for years to come.”
Chad Taylor, Program Director, 95 KGGO, added: “We are fortunate to have such a strong base of support from Des Moines’ Classic Rock community and 95 KGGO fans.”
