Madeleine Rivera New DC-Based Correspondent For FOX News


FOX News Channel (FNC) has named Madeleine Rivera a Washington based correspondent. Rivera has been a reporter for the network’s affiliate news service FOX News Edge since 2021. She will begin her role on January 2nd upon which FOX 35 Orlando’s (WOFL-TV) Connor Hansen will take over her position with FOX News Edge.

Throughout her tenure with FOX News Edge, she reported from Jerusalem on the Israeli/Hamas war as well as the Uvalde mass shooting, Hurricane Ian, and the passing of Queen Elizabeth II and former First Lady Rosalynn Carter.

From 2017 to 2021, Rivera was part of FOX News’ multimedia reporter and campaign embed based in Houston. In this capacity, she covered President Biden's campaign, delivering live reports from the campaign trail along with the transition into office for FOX owned and operated stations. She got her start in the television industry as a reporter at News12 Connecticut and Spectrum News Albany.

A graduate of Fordham University, Rivera holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies. She is a member of the Asian American Journalists Association.
