Voters are consuming Fox News more than CNN, MSBNBC, and others, according to a new poll.
The New York Times/Siena College released data on Tuesday that found no major media company universally winning over voters. Participants were asked which "news source" they turn to most often and more are scrolling through social media than popping on cable news.
According to the results, 13% cited Fox News as their most-consumed news source. CNN followed at 10%, and MSNBC scored just 3%.
Most, meaning 15%, cited social media as their source for news and another 13% said they rely on a national television network like CBS, NBC, or ABC.
Only 8% said they mainly consume print media news and 4% said they rely on public stations like NPR and PBS.
The New York Times survey was conducted among more than 1,000 adults December 10-14 and it carries a margin of error of 3.5%.
