101.9 The Mix / WTMX Chicago - October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Men of the Mix fronted by Morning Mix host Chris Petlak, Morning Mix News Personality Brian “Whip” Paruch, and Afternoon Mix co-host Casey McCabe teamed up with Men Wear Pink campaign to raise funds for the American Cancer Society, an organization leading the breast cancer fight in the 21st century, and their commitment to creating a future free from the threat of breast cancer. \
With the help of corporate sponsor, TreeTime Christmas Creations, Zanies Rosemont and our amazing Mix Listeners, The Men of The Mix helped raise just over $480,000 for the American Cancer Society of Greater Chicagoland, placing Chicago second in nationwide campaigns for total funds raised. Every dollar raised helps the American Cancer Society save lives from breast cancer by funding innovative breast cancer research; providing education and guidance to help people reduce their risk; and offering comprehensive patient care.
