Top conservative radio talker Mark Levin rarely sleeps. And now he doesn't even get a day off.
That's because Fox News is doubling down on its weekend ratings driver and giving the popular constitutional scholar and provocateur shows on both Saturday and Sunday nights, according to The Washington Examiner.
Already the weekend cable king with his Sunday night show Life, Liberty & Levin, he will do a completely new show for Saturday night too.
Meade Cooper, executive vice president of prime-time programming, said the new Saturday show will also air at 8 p.m. and debut Sept. 16, just three days before Levin is set to release his latest book, The Democrat Party Hates America. It is a pre-sales bestseller.
“Since joining the network in 2017, Mark has provided our audience with thought-provoking analysis on America’s core values and their impact on current events. We are looking forward to expanding his popular show to two nights a week,” Cooper said in a statement to Secrets.Levin added, “It's an honor to join the other outstanding hosts on Saturday in bringing the most intelligent, informative and entertaining programming to the nation. Thank you to our loyal audience and Fox News.”
Levin’s Sunday show has been on the air for five years.
Life, Liberty & Levin, said Fox, “is the highest-rated prime time program in cable news on Sundays, averaging 1.4 million viewers and 104,000 in the 25-54 demographic, posting triple and double-digit advantages over CNN and MSNBC across the board.”
It is just one arm of his vast empire that includes LevinTV, the weeknight Mark Levin Show syndicated on radio, a podcast, and his books. The Mark Levin Show is on over 300 stations.
