Indy Radio: Bob & Tom Cast Member Target of Gunman

Bullet holes from Sexton auto

Indianapolis radio personality Ron Sexton says he's lucky to be alive after someone shot at him while he was in his car, early Sunday Morning in nearby Castleton, Indiana.

Sexton, whose persona is Donnie Baker on the syndicated Bob and Tom Show, has an idea who to assailant is and that he was specifically targeted.  Sexton's rented car was riddled with nine bullet holes during the assault.

After the attack, Sexton fled in the vehicle to safety.  He is said to be unhurt and safe Monday. Although he is concerned about his personal safety and the safety of his parents.

A police report indicates it happened around 2 a.m. Sunday at 82nd Street and Shadeland Avenue on the north side of Indianapolis.

The BOB & TOM Show had increased police presence at its WFBQ 95.1 FM Indianapolis studio this morning as the shooter remains at large.  Q95 is owned by iHeartMedia. The show is syndicated by Westwood One.
